JJiang Yi Wa, Eva’s practice has a focus on civil and commercial matters.
Her practice has involved the negotiation, drafting and enforcement of various commercial and civil contracts. Expert in energy, environmental and climate change law, she is also experienced in handling litigation, namely on debt collection and family law.
Eva is also a lecturer with the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau since 2011, teaching Family Law, Succession Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Legal Language and Mainland China Law. At the same time, she acted as invited lecturer for several public departments of the Macau SAR Government.
Eva is the author of various articles in environmental and administrative law, namely Environmental Rights in the People’s Republic of China’s Constitution and the Basic Law of Special Administrative Region of Macao, published in Portugal, at Journal CEDOUA, and Environmental Protection and International Trade: Conflicts and Solutions in the Green Age, published in Portugal at the Journal of Public Law.
Eva has been invited as speaker to various legal conferences, not only in Macau, but also in Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Mozambique and Cape Verde, usually about Environmental Law, Solutions for Environmental Conflicts and Urban Planning.
Prior to joining JNV – Lawyers and Notaries as a Lawyer in 2013, Eva practiced as a trainee lawyer in Portugal at Veiga e Moura & Associados Law Firm. She is a member of both the Macau Bar Association and the Portuguese Bar Association.
Eva graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and subsequently graduated as a PhD in Public Law/Environmental Law with the same Faculty.
Eva is fully bilingual in Portuguese and Mandarin and fluent in both oral and written English.
