Erica Medeiros has significant experience on commercial and corporate law, administrative, taxation, criminal law and litigation, particularly in what relates to games of fortune and chance, land concessions, hotels, integrated resorts and related activities.
In her legal practice, she has been involved in the legal assistance to institutional clients and companies including, among others handling of corporate, M&A, restructuring and financing matters, providing legal opinions, preparing or revising numerous correspondence with public entities, such as the gaming regulator, preparing or revising templates of several contracts of different nature, terms and conditions or SOPs, handling of civil, administrative and criminal proceedings and general assistance in all legal matters related to the client’s activities.
Prior to joining JNV – Lawyers and Notaries in 2007, Erica worked as a Lawyer at Maria Antonieta Pereira Law Office, in Portugal, practicing specially banking litigation, corporate law, insurances and criminal law.
Erica graduated from the Lisbon University Faculty of Law in 2003 and concluded her traineeship in the Portuguese Bar Association in 2005. Since then, she is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association and of the Macau Lawyers Association as of 2007.
Erica is native in Portuguese and fluent in both oral and written English and French.
