Cristina Neto Valente

Cristina Neto Valente’s practice is mainly focused in civil, commercial, criminal law and the respective litigation.

Cristina has experience in large scale banking litigation, especially in proceedings for recovery of debts related to non-performing loans, and providing legal advice to individual and corporate clients in a wide range of matters.

She also assists on drafting of agreements and other documentation, advising purchasers and sellers on real estate transactions, collaborates in financing operations involving banking syndicates and assisted in the drafting of notary deeds.

Prior to joining JNV – Lawyers and Notaries as a trainee-lawyer, Cristina worked as in- house counsel at the Legal Department of the Macau Finance Service Bureau for almost 15 years, where she has obtained deep knowledge and practice in matters related to tax matters.

Cristina graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau and has also a post-graduation in European Studies at the same Faculty.

She is a member of the Macau Lawyers Association.

She is native in both Portuguese and Cantonese and fluent in both oral and written Mandarin and English.
