Sérgio Gaspar

Sérgio Gaspar’s practice is focused mainly on labour, immigration and corporate matters.

Sérgio is experienced in advising on questions related to employment relations, hiring of foreign workers by local companies and procedures for Macau Residency.

He has also experience in corporate matters, namely in compliance advisory to banking and other corporate entities, mostly within procurement and IT contracts with companies from outside Macau. He has also collaborated in financing operations involving banking syndicates and assisted in the drafting of notary deeds.

Prior to joining JNV – Lawyers and Notaries in 2014, Sérgio worked as jurist at Sá Carneiro Pinheiro Torres & Associados Law Office in Macau.

Sérgio graduated from University of Coimbra Faculty of Law in 2008 and concluded in 2009 the post-graduation in International Business Law by the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau. He is a lawyer registered at the Macau Lawyers Association since 2016.

Sérgio is native in Portuguese and fluent in English.
