Rita Rebelo

Rita Rebelo’s practice has a strong focus on civil, labour, commercial and corporative law, and she is also experienced in litigation.

Rita has been involved in negotiating, drafting and interpreting several commercial and civil contracts, as well as in providing corporate advisory services, related to compliance and regulation, mainly in commercial and banking areas.

She also has experience in managing large scale banking litigation and assists clients on dispute resolution attempts as well as on recovery of debt proceedings.

Prior to joining JNV – Lawyers and Notaries in 2012, Rita was a Trainee Lawyer at Matias Serra Law Office, a law firm based in Portugal, and she practiced as a Lawyer and Legal Advisor at the Association of Civil Construction and at the Public Works Industries (AICCOPN), both located in Portugal.

Rita graduated from the Oporto Catholic University Law School in 1997 and is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association and the Macau Lawyers Association.

She is native in Portuguese and fluent in both oral and written English.
